Refurbished Watches

Yes. A refurbished smartwatch from Back Market gives you a professionally tested device from a trusted refurbisher, backed by a 1-year commercial warranty and 30-day returns. You're getting the same hardware at a lower price, with a cosmetic condition you choose. The main trade-off is that you may not have the latest software version out of the box, but most devices update automatically.

Back Market is a dedicated marketplace for refurbished electronics. Smartwatches listed here are sold by professional refurbishers (not private sellers) who test and grade each device before it ships. Every purchase comes with a 1-year commercial warranty and 30-day returns.

The Apple Watch SE (refurbished) is a strong option for iPhone users: it covers the essentials (heart rate, GPS, Apple Pay, crash detection) without the price of a flagship model. Android users should consider a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 or 5, which offer solid health tracking at a comparable price point. Use the price filter to browse current availability.

It depends on the model. The Apple Watch is iPhone-only and won't pair with Android. Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch are optimized for Android but Galaxy Watch models have some iPhone compatibility. Garmin and Fitbit models are cross-compatible and work with both iPhone and Android via their apps. Always check compatibility before buying.

Battery life varies widely. The Apple Watch typically lasts 18 to 36 hours, so a daily charge is expected. Samsung Galaxy Watch models last 2 to 3 days. Garmin smartwatches range from 5 days to several weeks depending on the model and GPS use. Hybrid smartwatches can last 2 to 4 weeks. Battery capacity can decrease over time with any rechargeable device.

Most modern smartwatches are rated for water resistance, but the level varies by model. Many are rated for swimming and showering; fewer are built for diving or open-water sports. The specific ATM or IP rating is listed on each product page. A refurbished device's water resistance is not affected by cosmetic wear, but should not be assumed to be identical to a brand-new unit if the watch has visible physical damage.

Every refurbished smartwatch purchased through Back Market comes with a 1-year commercial warranty from the refurbisher and 30-day returns. The commercial warranty covers functional defects and is separate from any legal warranty rights you may have. If the device doesn't meet expectations within 30 days, you can return it for a refund.
